ACTS

Performing at West Didsbury Comedy Festival is by invitation only. We book everyone from HUGE TV comics, to local favourites and the best up and coming acts on the circuit. If you would like to be considered, or you are an agent with acts, please email info@westdidsburycomedyfestival.com with ‘ACT’ in the email title.

For newer comedians we also have the West Didsbury New Act of the Year Competition, with heats before the festival and the final as the closing show. Keep an eye on our social media for details of how to apply. We progress people from this into paid work and many of the acts who entered last year have had numerous gigs with us throughout the summer.

VOLUNTEERS/PAID WORK

Throughout the year and during the festival we do have opportunities to work with us both as a volunteer and paid. Giving experience to those wanting to learn the ropes  is really important to us and where we can help we will!
